Let Me In
I've found the best tactic for dealing with this is to put my fingers in my ears, close my eyes and shout "la la la this isn't happening!"
You see... I think I've figured out their logic. The reason people hate remakes so much is because usually enough time has gone by for the original to have gained a huge following of devoted geeks. Hollywood seem to have gone; "I know, if we remake the movie before it's even released on DVD, we can make lots of money before people realise it's even a remake, the original of which was far better!"
Pretty clever (evil) really.
